Opinion Barometer with 25 Voting Balls
There's a lot of talk about democracy everywhere, and children also hear this term over and over again. But how exactly does this democracy work? Of course, parents or educators can easily explain it, but how much do children retain? Children learn faster and better through experiences and actively participating in events. With the Opinion Barometer, children in their group or class are actively involved in decision-making processes. They learn to form their own opinions and discover how democracy works. Questions like "What are we doing today? Crafts, singing, or playing?" or "What activity is on the agenda today? Gymnastics, painting, or a walk?" can be decided together with the teachers. By forming a majority with the Opinion Barometer, not only are the daily things decided together, but the children can see how the majority is formed and are thus shaped for life as adults.
You can insert self-designed or existing cards for marking into the groove at the top of the slot. The children then throw their voting ball into the tube of their choice and then see the democratically chosen result. After the vote, the slider at the bottom is pulled out, and the balls fall into a container, such as a shoebox.
